Shipping & Delivery Policy
At Flower N Petals, we strive to deliver your orders in accordance with the delivery option selected during purchase. The exact delivery time may vary based on the recipient’s location. To accommodate different needs, Flower N Petals offers two delivery choices: ‘Fixed Time Deliveries’ and ‘Free Deliveries.’ A nominal fee is charged for Fixed Time Delivery, which is displayed when you select your preferred delivery window. While we make every effort to deliver your order at the specified time, please note that delivery may be affected by factors beyond our control, such as unexpected delays from our courier partners due to weather conditions, political unrest, strikes, war, lockdowns, or other unforeseen events (“Force Majeure Events”). In such cases, we will proactively notify you via email or SMS, so please ensure you check these regularly.
Flowers may be delivered at different stages of blooming, including fully bloomed, semi-bloomed, or as buds. Once an order is placed, the delivery address cannot be changed.
We recommend placing orders at least five days in advance during festivals or major events to ensure timely delivery.
Products delivered by hand may arrive separately from items sent via courier, and therefore, may reach the recipient at different times or on different days.
For same-day standard time delivery, orders must be placed with Flower N Petals by 6:00 pm IST, Monday through Sunday. For same-day fixed time delivery, the cutoff time is 6:30 pm IST, and for same-day midnight delivery, orders must be received by 7:00 pm IST, Monday through Sunday. Please note that the requested delivery time is non-binding, and actual delivery depends on product availability and the destination.
In the event of Force Majeure Events, deliveries may take longer than expected. We will proactively update you via email or SMS.
For perishable items like cakes and flowers, we attempt delivery only once. If delivery cannot be completed during this attempt, you will still be charged, and no re-delivery will be possible. We consider the order fulfilled in the following situations:
– Incorrect delivery address
– Recipient unavailable
– Premises locked
– Recipient refusal to accept the order
If the recipient is not available, they may inform the delivery person to leave the order at the gate, reception, or with a neighbor.
In case of any delivery disputes, proof of delivery will be provided.
If no one is available at the specified delivery address at the time of delivery, the order will not be considered late, and no refunds, cancellations, or liability will apply. However, we will take the following steps to ensure the recipient receives the order:
– Attempt to contact the recipient to arrange an appropriate delivery time
– Leave a note at the recipient’s door, asking them to contact the florist to schedule delivery
– Leave the order in a secure, covered location (e.g., porch, garage)
– Leave the order with a neighbor and place a message on the recipient’s door with this information
